Our online blog posts non-fiction articles on speculative fiction*. We’re looking for reviews, articles, personal essays, thinkpieces, etc. We also welcome illustrations. Head over to the blog to get an idea of what we’re publish.
For prose pitches, (200 words, the media in question, general ramblings, content warnings, and an expected word count, etc) to thespectatorial@gmail.com. We’ll be in contact and if approved, then a timeline for editing and posting, and finding visuals can be invoked.

ZINES: OPEN!
Our genre zines publish flash fiction and all creative work pertaining to the on-theme genre year-round. We’re looking for poetry, prose, maps, character profiles, Pokémon cards, illustrations, comics, and anything else you can think of! Our zines print on a periodic cycle, so keep up with our Instagram and Discord to find out (1) the genre and (2) when we’re looking for submissions. Please send pitches, drafts, ideas, or completed works to thespectatorial@gmail.com OR this submission form! (written works have a maximum wordcount of 700).
*What do we mean by speculative? Anything that could be construed as both literary and genre. Fantasy, horror, sci-fi, superhero, dystopian, post-apocalyptic, gaslamp, steampunk, and anything else that you can think of. We encourage content from all cultures and multilingual submissions.
